Come see Lost in Yonkers.

This 1991 Pulitzer prize-winning script is one of American playwright Neil Simon's more poignant comedies. Lost in Yonkers is about two teenagers temporarily marooned at their German-born Grandma's apartment in New York in 1942. The boys' father, in debt after his late wife's illness, is forced to make a decision which changes the boys' lives. Sharing cramped quarters above the family candy store with Grandma and Aunt Bella, Jay and Arty try their best to survive. Starting out bonkers in Yonkers, the family gradually deepens and darkens.
