Call for audition for "Mr. Scrooge", April 24th, 25th, 27th and May 1st

AUDITIONS!!!

Dear members and friends,

We are very happy to announce the auditions for our November 2018 Upstage-Caretakers co-production! We will be performing Mr Scrooge – a dramatised version of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, directed by Simon D. Hicks. The play will be staged at the Theater am Käfigturm.

The auditions will take place on the evenings (18:30 – 21:30h) of:
April 24th, 25th, May 1st - Caretaker cellar on Lerchenweg. Those of you who do not know where it is, can meet us 5 minutes before the auditions on Lerchenweg, infront of the Alibaba Restaurant.
April 27th - St Ursula's Church, Jubiläumsplatz 2, Bern

Please add your email-address to the doodle (after your name or as a comment). After you’ve signed-up, we will send you the information about how and what you need to prepare and will let you know where the auditions will take place.

Rehearsals will begin in June on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as approximately one weekend a month. The exact rehearsal schedule is to be determined. There will be a Summer-break during which no rehearsals take place. When the Summer-break occurs depends on the availability of the actors.

If you would like to take part in this challenging project it is essential that you are available for rehearsals and keep the following production dates free:
November 4th: move into theatre
November 5th: Tech-rehearsal
November 6th: Pre-dress-rehearsal
November 7th: Dress-rehearsal
November 8th, 9th, 10th, 15th, 16th and 17th: Performances

Please find a synopsis of the play as well as a description of the roles in the attachment. You can audition for as many characters as you like.
