As a Southern family gather at their plantation estate on a steamy summer evening to celebrate the birthday of their patriarch, son Brick and his wife Maggie (“the cat”) constantly wrangle, dodging the secrets and tensions threatening their marriage. Tennessee Williams’ 1955 Pulitzer Prize winning play tells the story of a family in crisis, looking for hope through their web of lies.
