Monday, December 21 at 19:00 on Zoom: playreading of 'Gold, Frankincense and Murder' by Bryan Darby

Nothing of any note has ever happened in Compton Gurney, a sleepy village cosily concealed in the heart of rural England. At Christmas, parishioners arriving for Midnight Mass, are unaware that the parish priest had been rushed to hospital earlier in the day. In his absence, the service is to be celebrated by the bishop. But the bishop is found dead in the church with a cryptic message scrawled in his own blood. The investigations of a Detective Inspector and his overworked Detective Sergeant seem to generate more questions than answers.
