Playreading: "Trap for a Lonely Man” by Robert Thomas

Thursday, February 17, 2022 - 19:00
online via Zoom

For our February playreading we have chosen to read together our 2022 spring play, which will be directed by Myriam Schleiss.

Set in an isolated chalet in the French alps, “Trap for a Lonely Man” is a gripping psychological thriller about a man who has apparently lost his wife and is rapidly losing his mind. When his wife suddenly reappears, he is outraged to discover that she is not who she claims to be. It becomes increasingly apparent to Daniel Corban that he is facing some sort of conspiracy, as various witnesses declare that the mysterious woman is indeed his wife. But who is telling the truth and to what lengths can a person go to distort the facts? As the story advances, the tension and the mystery rise sharply and are sustained to the final moments.
