Friday, July 8, 2022 - 17:00
St Ursula's Church, Jubiläumsplatz 2, Bern

Call for auditions for "The Giver", adapted by Eric Coble from the book by Lois Lowry, directed by Anke Breihan and Sebastian Coleman

If you are interested in auditioning, please fill out the Doodle form
or write to to sign up.

Each individual audition lasts between 10-25 minutes,
depending on the role. You are free to choose any of the available time slots in the doodle form. To reduce the number of people waiting in the room, there is a maximum of four people auditioning for every time slot. This will also allow you to plan your audition according to your
schedule. All auditions will be held at St. Ursula's Church (Jubiläumsplatz 2, 3005 Bern).
● Wednesday 06.07 / 10:00–13:00
● Friday 08.07 / 17:00-19:00

If you can’t make it to any of the dates, you can still write us an email to and tell us what part you would like to audition for.
● We expect you to prepare a short monologue (1-2 minutes) from a contemporary piece of
your choice.
● We will then hand you a monologue or short scene from the play, supplied by the directors
at the time of auditioning.
Important: When you arrive at the audition, you will need to fill out a form with your available days during the week and planned absences. After the auditions, we will inform you via email of our decision.
